Re-live ancient times, as you discover dolmens, chromlechs and burial mounds in this natural landscape. The Agiña megalithic site has its own identity, and is full of cultural references bringing us closer to our ancestors.
This site (over about 50,000 km2) is made up of 107 chromlechs, 11 dolmens, 4 burial mounds and a menhir, among others. There are several constructions and archaeological remains from the Iron Age (600-200 BC), such as a section of a wall.
There has been a chapel and a funerary stele here for half a century. In addition, the prehistoric remains share the stage with a modern monument by the sculptor, Jorge Oteiza, dedicated to Aita Donosti.
Don’t pass up the opportunity to take a walk through this natural area full of history. Three circular paths have been prepared to explore the archaeological landmarks found there.
