The Mill at Amaiur Culture and Heritage

Calle Errotondoa, 6, 31715 Maya, Navarra

At the entrance to the town of Amaiur, there is an old mill, with historical documents proving its existence from the middle of the 18th century. Today it has been restored and offers visitors the opportunity to see first-hand how the old mill worked.

In addition to learning about this process, you can taste delicious talos, traditional cornmeal cakes accompanied by a sausage or chocolate. The corn flour used is organic, chemical and gluten-free. You can also buy other wheat flour produced in the mill.

Guided tours of Amaiur town and the castle monument are also offered from the mill.

Access: The mill is at the entrance to Amaiur, before crossing the characteristic arch.
