Feeling the heartbeat of the forest is possible in this natural area in the Navarre western Pyrenees. On the banks of the Bidasoa River and made up of 2,040 hectares of luxurious vegetation, the park has different ways of living and experiencing nature. A garden over 100 years old is at the entrance to the park and invites you to discover more than 120 species of trees and shrubs. Inside, there are different hiking trails and a Nature Interpretation Centre to explore the ecosystem and the unique animal species in this area.
Outside the garden is a large green expanse, with a picnic area, swings, parking, an outdoor sculpture exhibition and the tourist information office. There is also a charcoal pit, which shows how charcoal is made, and a lime kiln, to produce quicklime.
