Set out on the Plazaola path and enjoy the green landscape along this route. The Vía Verde del Plazaola is a route for walkers and cyclists along what was the old narrow gauge railway track that connected the 84 km between Pamplona and San Sebastián between 1914 and 1953. Today, you can travel a total of 54 km along this road, which begins at the Plazaola station in Lekunberri. This route ends in Andoain (Guipuzcoa), and goes through spectacular landscapes and numerous tunnels, such as the 2.7 km long Uitzi tunnel.
Access
The route begins at the Plazaola station in Lekunberri, where the Tourist Office is located. There is a bike rental service in the Kantina del Plazaola, a cafe next to the Station.
